Upward - Experimental Portfolio & Blog WordPress Theme

Description

The Upward WordPress theme is an original choice for showcasing artwork and illustrations with style and balance.

The Upward Theme by StrictThemes is an edgy, experimental portfolio theme focused on images. This theme boasts an unusual diagonal gallery presentation, and its aesthetic might not be for everyone. There is a quirkiness to this theme that may appeal to artists or bloggers with an eye for something different.

As a portfolio WordPress theme, the design does not have the same universal appeal that other StrictThemes themes tend to offer. Functionally, the Upward theme operates according to the traditional blogroll style of a WordPress site, but visually it incorporates some unique features. With an emphasis on images, some might find the diagonal arrangement and framing of visual elements distracts from the readability of the site, while others may find it a refreshing departure from traditional layouts.

Ultimately, Upward is best-suited for users who are looking to create a portfolio that doesn’t look like every other portfolio.
